Strikið

Strikið is located on the fifth (top) floor of Skipagata 14 in Akureyri, offering a fantastic view over Eyjafjörður and the town of Akureyri.

The focus is on variety in cooking and a diverse selection of dishes on the menu, including sushi and weekend brunch.  For lunch, every weekday we offer a dish of the day.

Strikið has two halls that can accommodate 50 and 60 guests, and in addition there is space for up to 100 people outdoors under the open sky. On a good summer day, or a warm and bright summer evening, it is an incredible experience to sit outside and enjoy great food along with the stunning panoramic views in every direction — across Eyjafjörður and Akureyri, up towards the mountains, and out to sea.

A light and enjoyable atmosphere, along with excellent service, are the hallmarks of Strikið.
