Hotel Á

Hótel Á is a countryside hotel, in the Western Iceland province of Borgarfjördur, situated next to the Hvítá Glacial River. We offer free Wi-Fi in the reception, as well as an on-site restaurant and bar.

Guests can enjoy a daily breakfast buffet, BBQ facilities and a terrace. Á Hótel also has a communal TV lounge, tour desk and laundry services.  A private bathroom with a shower and bathrobes is featured in all Hótel Á rooms. All rooms have a wardrobe and simple décor.

In the evening we offer a two to three course menu of the day with a choice of fish or meat as a main course.

Barnafoss and Hraunfossar Waterfalls are both within 5 minutes’ drive. The Deildartunguhver hot spring and the village of Reykholt are both 16 km away, while the Surtshellir lava cave is 20 km from the property.
